The Maintenance Administrator is responsible for the overall asset management, work planning, and spare part inventory using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software. This position is also responsible for training new CMMS users, maintaining parts/asset data accuracy and equipment hierarchy in MP2/ERP systems. This person will develop and implement standard workflows for work requests, preventive maintenance program, project request, and inspection.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides software training to end users and new CMMS administrators, serves as liaison for problem solving and escalation.
  • Coaches and educates staff on the MP2/ERP functions and best practices for performing tasks.
  • Provides general administrative assistance to maintenance team.
  • Works with ERP Business Analyst to implement a standard approach to maintenance management, preventive maintenance (PM) procedures, work flow tasks and scheduling.
  • Develops MP2/ERP reports.
  • Manages work orders in the system, ensures proper creation, planning, updating and closure of work orders.
  • Works directly with production planning to schedule PM work.
  • Participates in ERP software implementation projects and serves as the department resource for training and implementation of new CMMS program.
  • Works with the department trainers to further build upon the apprenticeship programs, including administering tests and working with vendors to provide on-site trainings.
  • Develops a document library of technical manuals.

Positions Requirements

  • Strong technical skills.
  • Previous IT and/or CMMS experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated organized and strong ability to problem solve.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Suite) and experience working with a variety of software systems.
  • Experience working in/around maintenance of a manufacturing facility preferred.
