Deschutes Brewery is hiring for a Full Time Lead Host/Assistant Pub Floor Manager to join our Bend Pub! This position is a split role, and time will be divided between the Lead Host and Assistant Pub Floor Manager roles based on business need to lead and support our awesome front of house crew!

As an Assistant Pub Floor Manager you will oversee all aspects of the front of house team, which includes our team of hosts, servers and bartenders. This role is responsible for leading our team to deliver extraordinary experiences to every guest, and create raving fans for life.

As a Lead Host you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our host welcoming team, leading that team to effectively manage the flow of guests and first impressions of our restaurant.

We are seeking a leadership style that provides an environment where productivity, accountability and motivation are top priorities.

  • Create an atmosphere that supports Deschutes Brewery's Mission, Core Values, and Strategic Vision
  • Ensure high quality service and product delivery
  • Responsible for proper purchasing practices
  • Facility maintenance
  • Leadership, mentoring, and training of fellow co-owners
  • Adherence to established company HR standards
  • Responsible for accurate control inventories
  • Hands-on floor management
  • Ability to multi-task and work in high volume, fast-paced restaurant
  • Display positive communications with all co-owners

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Previous restaurant experience required; 2 years in a high-volume restaurant setting preferred
  • OLCC License preferred upon hire; required within 30 days of hire
  • Food handlers certification preferred upon hire; required within 30 days of hire
  • Exceptional customer service and guest-first focus
  • The ability to model teamwork, collaboration, and open communication
  • Positive attitude and proven ability to work independently
  • Excellent organization skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite, or similar
